Gorgeous TCBC Urbana, IL Wedding

Before Liz and Michael's wedding I drove around the neighborhood where they were going to be getting married at. It was GORGEOUS! The church was placed right in the middle of an old town neighborhood with brick roads and ornate street posts. The streets were lined with early 1900s light posts. Not to mention the University of Illinois campus was just across the street with its beautiful buildings and archways! I was in photographer heaven thinking of all the gorgeous spots we could use! Then, I looked at the forecast for their big day... I could have cried! There was anywhere from a 50% chance to a 90% chance of rain for the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY! That was the saddest thing for me to see being a photographer that absolutely LOVES natural light! However, I am so thankful that we have a God that hears our prayers! I prayed all night and in the morning on the way to meet Liz for hair and makeup shots! Thankfully, the rain held off almost all day until their reception and at that point we didn't need to be outside anymore! God is so good!

Liz and Michael, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your big day! I hope your love for each other never fades but only grows stronger! You two seem so perfect for each other and I am so happy for you! Your friends were a blast to be around at your wedding! I'm so thankful God held off the rain for you guys and that you were able to get such precious pictures to remember this moment for the rest of your lives'.

P.S. It did start to rain on us ever so slightly as we began to do their husband and wife pictures but that gave us the beautiful moment below with the cute umbrella ;)
